Last time I saw him doing anything musical, it was pretty bad. Guess he can still pick, but he couldn’t sing for shite.
You probably got a better deal with ZB.

Still, good or bad, he’s pretty much the last man standing.

You had better go see him in concert when you get the chance.

I should have went see Fats when he was still playing the fest but didn't.

As far as "A band member has COVID" ... you keep that fella in quarantine and replace him. Not a main man like Willie.

Pretty impressive that jazz fest could pull Zac brown at such a late date.

Man Jazz Fest has been snakebit the last few years. Cancellations of big acts and then Covid. But Kudos to Quint, he’s always able to pull a rabbit out of his hat.

Zac Brown instead of Willie Nelson sounds like an upgrade.

I don’t understand the fascination with Willie Nelson. I think his voice is horrible, even in his prime. Now in high school we all liked him because he smoked weed, but other than that he’s crap.

I saw him at the 4th of July picnic 7-8 years ago. They basically walked him out, he stood there still and sang a medley of his songs for about 45 minutes, and that was it. I thought he wasn’t long for the world then.

Side note: Ryan Bingham blew it out of the water that day.

I guess that’s why so many big time artists have wanted to do duets with him.

I saw Willie in Kentucky last month. He can't sing any more but it was still awesome to see the legend

I saw James Brown circa 2000 and it was an awful show. People left early. Yeah, I can say I saw James Brown so that’s something. But watching an ancient musician go through the motions is not enjoyable.

Don't worry about Willie--he has a herbal health secret. Well, maybe not that secret.

One of my parents first date was a Willie Nelson concert in the early 80s. They seen him perform several times over the years.
