No. You still have to factor in the cost to refine the oil and the gasoline tax.

State and federal taxes add about 50 cents to a gallon. Add in the cost to refine it combined with markups to the gas station and the answer is no.

I'm fine with $2/gallon gas. Higher than that is gouging.

No, last time that happened market price was $15 and PEMEX had made hard non indexed contract with several refineries to sell at $7

In 1993 gas was at a dollar. That’s $1.79 in today’s prices

I hope the war gets so bad, the battles so ferocious, that it drops to Free 50.

It's like the man that stopped at the roadside vegetable stand and asked What's your price on tomatoes? The owner said it depends, the more your buy the cheaper they get. The man said to the owner, Load them onto my truck until they are free then. lol

I hope Saudi Arabia floods the market with crude the price plummets til its FREE. Screw Exxon, Shell, Citgo, Texaco, etc. Any unrest in the Middle East or there is a refinery issue, and overnight they up the price 50 cents a gallon.
