Will we ever get a Diesel version of the Ridgeline?

Not only are Ridgelines one of the most aggressive looking fully capable trucks on the road, but the price is practical.

I would love to see an eco friendly version of this vehicle.

I don’t think I can take someone seriously who drives a Honda Truck when there are so many other options.

And this is coming from a guy who has a Ram Rebel.

No. The 6cyl gas is fine. How many midsized trucks these days have a diesel engine

And yes, I know you're kind of trolling.

I keep seeing more and more of the ridgelines, probably because they don't put 4cyl engines with a turbo in their trucks

No.

Diesel is basically dead in that space.

For good reason. It comes with all the bells and whistles with great storage ideas and a off-road pkg that will challenge your Tacoma TRD.

Over the years they went from non agreesive to "bend you into submission" aesthetic.

The Honda Ridgeline is all any 5'8" - 5'10 short king of SE LA needs.

Best front seats of dang near any vehicle I've ridden in, and definitely the best seats in its class.

Would def get AWD version.

You can make fun all you want but for most folks a Ridgeline is exactly the truck they need. I’ve driven Ford’s and my last was Toyota Tundra and now have a Ridgeline. It is awesome and can do everything a loud noisy Ford/Toyota can do. And the tailgate opening both ways is a huge plus. To each their own, but this thing is smooth, quiet, and has a lot of little things the others don’t.

Not exactly sure what I said that was making fun...

I know guys that have them and like them, exactly for the reasons you mentioned.

It's not what I want in a pickup, but they're excellent vehicles.

You mean it will challenge the Yota to pull out the Ridgeline when it gets beached because the OffRoad package on the Ridgeline gets 7.6-IN of ground clearance and a 20.1-deg approach angle? The Ridgeline is a Pilot with the back cut open.

It seems reliable and will probably fit the bill for a lot guys in that space looking at the Maverick or Sata Cruz, but it's not in the Ranger/Coloardo/Frontier space, much less in the Tacomas.

The only thing that would make that thing more cringe is if it were electric

It's on the unibody platform, which is why it has a smooth ride... my buddy has one and it's great

Enjoy your new 4 banger Toyota though. Be sure to get that TRD sticker on there.

Wow. Yote, you can get a fully optioned Maverick with the Tremor package for that or right around it. Same smooth ride with the unibody and better economy vs the Ridgeline. Lose some of the unique bed/tailgate features but it depends if that's a breaking point.
