Sounds good, No Colors, but with the modern W&L student is a good bit different from 20 or more years ago.

Not really. I keep up with people in the administration, admissions, and alumni board. They seem to be comfortable with the quality and mindset of the kids. The University survived the 70s and 80s, coeducation, the fraternity crisis, etc. The University is in good hands.

It's good to hear that not every college or university is tryibg to eradicate symbols that might remind others of an uncomfortable time in our nation's history. You are lucky to have trustees, administrators, and an alumni group with backbones.

You don't need the monuments to know the history. I have no problem taking down statues of Confederates. The war was lost over 150 years ago. It's time to move on. Put the statues in museums where they belong.
