Back in the day, only sororities cared about homecoming. Fraternities didn't really care. Just another game day.

And it was a great way to chase tail. Homecoming, Songfest, and Greek Week were just ways to stack the odds in your favor

There are a lot of student groups that participate in homecoming, I think it's just mostly dominated by the Greeks because all of them participate by having a float and setup on their lawns. I personally didn't really care about homecoming.
