Why would the prosecution parade all those players around the courtroom if they weren't trying to influence the jury?
Of course they want it to influence the jury. So the frick what?
Should Will's friends not show up or something?

Is that the biggest hill for the defense to climb, yes or no?

made to look guilty. He shot the guy. 7 times. In the back.
If you posted the exact law for M2, at some point someone is going to have to explain Hayes specific intent to cold bloodily murder someone. If it wasn't for the reason that Smith had, and or was retrieving a gun, then they better have a solid theory on why all of a sudden he decided to shoot Smith yet pose no threat to anyone else at the scene.
Law, in black & white is fine. but don't discount common sense

Why are Hayes' friends and family parading around the courtroom?

So we just skip the whole why Will SMith was "going to get a gun" part?

Do you think that he should have a reasonable belief of losing his life because of this?
You keep saying this. That's not the standard. It's a reasonable fear of death or great bodily injury. That's why all the circumstances ARE relevant and important. He may be reasonable in fearing that these guys were going to beat him senseless. If so, the homicide is justifiable.

So you think the jurors will care more about Saints players at the trial than the facts of the case?

So Hernandez calls someone a n****r and then threatens to kill him, and Hayes still doesn't shoot him...

Seems like a lot of conflicting information with each new witness. Stories don't seem to line up at least.

Specific intent is established when you point a gun at someone and pull the trigger. That said, heat of passion is a mitigating factor. Hayes will probably either (a) get off as being justified or (b) get convicted of manslaughter.

It seems like Ross saw stuff but actually didn't see anything. Wish he had more details. If he was eyeing up Smith, I want to know at what point did he lean into his car, & why? Dude has all these "details" except the important ones.

Half the city is wearing a Hayes jersey.

And I was responding to LE's opinion that it's the biggest hurdle the defense needs to climb.

This Hernandez dude seems like POS. Why does anyone hang out with people like this?

I realize it isn't smith that said it, but having someone in his party threaten murder, sure isn't a good thing for the state
