If wearing a mask works, put one on and you’ll be ok. Let me decide if I want to be “protected” or not.

If you want to wear a pussy pad because the government tells you to do so, wear a pussy pad.

I will not ever wear a pussy pad again. Mainly because I trust the science and I trust my immune system, which is not compromised by the COVID vaccine.

The only purpose a pussy pad serves is to let rational people know to stay the hell away from you.

FIFY. If you want to disagree with a mask's effectiveness, cool, but at least get the premise right. The mask protects others from your stuff, not you from everybody else's.

Ah, that's why my wife had to get all PPE'ed up to go into the COVID rooms of the hospital. It was to protect them from her. I get it now.

If masks work, then why didn't the masks work?

We masked the entire country and vaccinated the majority, and yet here we are, another convenient wave of new variants incoming just in time for election season.

And just when I thought the Most Holy Church of the Masked Covidian had all but disappeared, lo and behold does a masked and triple vacc'd knight appear!

Hospital personnel vs. general public are two different sets of circumstances. They had to do way more than wear just a mask; their exposure level was far higher. Not comparable.

Given your stance, your wife should have gone without any protective measures or just quit her job (I'm assuming she worked in a hospital).

Imagine thinking a porous piece of cotton prevents the transmission of a virus.

A conspiracy theorist will always see a conspiracy in anything; however, I do believe they see at as political rail they can ride on. Not sure there's enough of America to buy it though, and, no, I don't.

Read my previous post. I didn't say they worked in the sense you are (i.e. 100%). Masks were about reduction, not elimination. Also, we don't need this measure now. I'm not arguing for reinstating it.

Yea, the mask works completely differently when inside the hospital vs outside. You really are knowledgable.

Or..... the PPE was for her protection and makes sense in a clinical setting, but not in the general public. Either way.

Imagine having faith people can read properly. I didn't say it prevents it. I said it reduces it. I'll add that reduction varies depending on material.

You have the personal credentials to back that up? Love all these arm-chair virologists who know it all and better than the professionals.

It was never about 100% efficacy in preventing virus transmission. Multiple studies have shown reduction not elimination. I'm sure reduction wasn't worth it to you, but it makes sense to me.

JFC, not this fricking horseshite again

You have one of these in your house , don't you?

That’s more about a shirt than a mask. Now, Future knows about the mask off.

A conspiracy theorist would believe that masks work to reduce infection.

Masks work at forcing people to comply with irrational mandates.
Masks work at scaring the general population into a state of frenzy and/or submission.
Masks work to retard and confuse our young children in school.
Masks work for diminishing the oxygen supply to your brain and taking in clean air.
Masks work to dehumanize people.
