I still get a redbox movie every so often. Watching a movie for $1.25 on my couch. I love it. One day in the next few years they may go out of business, but until then they will still have my business.

i remember back in the day organizing my DVD collection and using an app (forget the name now) where i would allow my friends to 'check out' a dvd so i could keep track of who had my shite. good times.

Believe or not I stil get dvd/blurays in the red envelopes from Netflix all the time. If you watch a lot of older, harder to find movies its still a good service.

did they ever reconcile their online vs physical media disparity? i remember you could still get lots of movies by mail not on the streaming version.

Tons of movies are available by mail that arent on Netflix streaming. Granted you can rent a lot of stuff off Amazon and other services but they cost 4.00-5.00. a pop.
