Will anything change with entergy?

Listening to the radio and they’re taking a beating. Apparently ensured the city council and JP politicians that even if they lost all 8 of their transmission lines they could generate power from their Michoud plant. Obviously that’s not true.
They’ve been under some heat recently as it is, so I’m curious to see if anything changes with them or they continue their monopoly in the city.

That's just the way it is. Some things will never change.

You might get a new monopoly, but you're not going to get options.

Don’t want to start another thread but my status for my outage is “arrived.”
Think that means crews are on site to make repairs? Google hasn’t been helpful

Entergy gets a lot of criticism. But they’re really not that bad.

I sure hope so. Entergy New Orleans is regulated by the city council. When the dust settles it’s time to get serious about the fairly dull subject of utility regulation and start pressing the regulators - aka the city counsel - to focus on reliability.
There some decent folks on the counsel now. Can’t continue to elect people like Jared brosset. Now is not the time to for people who piss their pants after drunkenly wrecking a city owned car to have any say on how power is provided to New Orleans.

For as much shite as you can stir for entergy, I'd prefer them 1000% over cleco. Clecos reps can't even explain how they bill commercial with the arbitrary demand dates and such. We are about to find out how their emergency response is.
Like seriously, you call them to explain the mandatory demand based bill to you, and they are helpless and just say, it works out for you usually to do it this way.
My company's facilities that are serviced by entergy. Almost 50% cheaper without the demand based bill that pulls your worst date of the year and never updates.
Let's not even get to H2O

I don’t think they’re awful but they’re doing some really shady shite.
They got busted sending paid actors to the city council meeting that even approved the michoud plant that was supposed to avoid this situation.

H2O and now whoever brother in law bought it sucks. Our water has gritty mud like shite year round. They say to run our faucets and it will clear. Absolute idiots. Apparently that's the Intravia Brothers and Kelly whatever [ KPM ]. Build shite houses and provide shite water

Yep, they’re losing one of their best workers to retirement after 40 years in a few weeks. TYFYS, Dad! Let’s smoke some weed.

Maybe you missed it, but an extremely powerful hurricane just came thru. Maybe give Entergy a few days to make some progress
