Yes, they seem to be updating their website pretty frequently with good information.

Thank you!

Woman’s Hospital does this shite to me in late summer when my wife is due I’m getting arrested. That is pure bullshite. The father deserves to be there if he doesn’t have symptoms.

You being there has no impact on the patient (your wife and the baby) getting safe care. So while it would absolutely be nice for you to be there....it isn’t a necessity and isn’t your “right”. Considering what is going on...each hospital has to decide how they will address visitors.

I feel for you, man, but when your wife and baby get home, would you prefer to be with them, or in jail?

HST, it’ll be over by then.

Yep, other guy was correct. Once they diagnosed that the woman having contractions and leaking amniotic fluid was indeed going into labor they took my temp and let me in.

Was not communicated that way initially.

How dumb, even when the father isn't stuck in the parking lot and not allowed in yet, during a normal birth there are things the father can't be there for. Posting here at least passes time instead of sitting and worrying what's happening to his wife.

99% of the really good hospitals in the country?

The only hospital around Shreveport that makes you pay is LSU health, and that's because they build it in the hood
