I had to read one for an English class once in college. It was basically text-based pornography. Very lewd, though a little bit more focused on the emotional aspect of sex. My 19 year old self might've even been tempted to crank it had I not been sitting in the public library (I was not about to buy the book, after all). Then again, there were a lot of things my 19 year old self would have cranked it to.
