have you ever witnessed a dog fight?

I would imagine you could search youtube for a service dog attack, and maybe get it.

Evidently, it's not rare at all for people not to "get it" though.

I would bet anything if you took numbers from responsible owners that pitbull attacks wouldn't be in the top 10. Small dogs are way way way more aggressive it's just pits are much stronger and the news loves them

Even if you're right... generally speaking, small dogs don't have the ability to kill your arse.

Why put an animal in your house that has the ability to kill you? Adrenaline rush?

I've never read a story about a poodle or a Chihuahua mauling a person to DEATH.

I don't like pits enough to own one with their reputation, even if there is only a .00000001 chance of it biting me or even worse another person.

Be like wearing a pair of shoes that has a small chance of exploding. Ha, I better really fricking like those shoes if I'm gonna own a pair.

Very sad story. I've worked on hundreds of these dogs and never been bit by one. Had a few try it but most are wonderful and easy to work on.

Will likely never own one myself. Seems like there is a very small risk with them but enough that my wife and I have said we wouldn't get one.

They have softer sides to them but to think they aren't a more "dangerous" breed is moronic.

Have a bunch of friends who get upset about it when I say that. Hello one of these people even was but by the dog but "it wasn't their fault I cornered them." Are you fugging kidding me?

I'm libertarian but owning a pit bull should be a CRIME. You are putting those exposed at risk of death. It's like drunk driving or reckless endangerment. Put bulls should be killed en masse.

If u own a pit bull then duck you

Yeah whatever. Seems like these "freak accidents" tend to happen quite a bit, though fortunately most of the time they don't result in death. I know two people who have been severely bitten by their own pit bulls.

Yep that's what they always say. Sorry but who the hell wants to own a dog that gets to attack you and its always your fault? Sounds pretty fricked up to me.

Maybe you should ask them why home insurers won't insure for damages caused by pit bulls. Is it because the insurance companies are stupid and like to lose money, or maybe its because some pretty smart people have sat down, looked at the data, and concluded the statistics show that insuring pit bulls is a losing proposition.

Yeah, and one night you're going to roll over on one of them and then have your throat ripped out because you "upset" it.

Sounds like you and Mr Dead have the same thought process.

My biggest fear is that I share the road with folks like you, and hence my reluctance to drive a smaller vehicle.

There are literally hundreds of breeds to chose from, why choose the one at the top of the attack/death charts. If you do, you deserve the shifty life you live.

It's too bad that people actually think it makes them cool or tough. It's like snakes and tattoos.......NO one thinks you are cool.....NO ONE!
