Marriage counseling is often just a tag-team between the wife and her therapist against the husband.
So the larger problem is who is counseling you as a couple? Are you doing "family sessions" with your wife's therapist? Or are you seeking out a therapist that should ethically just be doing couples with you and not seeing either of you individually.
That seems to be something I see come up a lot with certain therapists. I won't see someone for couples if I'm already seeing them individually. There's going to be inherent biases there if you do, no matter how much you try to bracket.
And if your marriage therapist is doing any kind of "tag teaming" then they're not a good, ethical therapist.

This is a year or so old. Has anyone seen any follow up by this broad? I'm going to guess she's been run through by a platoon of guys since then (probably several before the divorce) and is bitter she can't find a quality man. I'll also be willing to wager she's starting to feel the stress of her youth fading - appears late 30s/early 40s - and at least a third of the guys rearranging her insides are 5-6 years younger.

Sometimes young guys in my office will ask me for advice on what they can do to be successful. I think a lot of them expect me to come back with some sort of career guidance, but I always tell them the number one most important thing in life is to choose the right partner.
You can make all the money in the world, and then lose half of it in a divorce. Or have all the money in the world and still want to blow your brains out because you’re married to some terrible person.
A great wife is a true partner, and will make you better at everything you do. They also help to make life fun and worth living.
