Assuming these reports are true with drones near sensitive military installations, why weren’t air defenses activated or fighters scrambled? Why is the Pentagon downplaying?

There are reports that they are zapping battery life from drones and some real far out shite is their energy source may be nuclear in nature.
I haven’t a clue. The fact that they aren’t scrambling leads credence to it being them. Then again, why fricking trot out your new toy in a populated arse place and create hysteria?

You can laugh if you want. That doesn’t change the fact that I had a career in US intelligence. It wasn’t fricking aliens and shite, but I know the process. I know how the sausage is made. I know how information Is obfuscated and how it’s disclosed.
Spent about 6yrs downrange. When I was stateside, did a stint with AFSOC, SOCOM, and to a very limited degree NAVSPEC. Plenty of time in the beltway too.

You don’t do that across the eastern seaboard. Even if you wanted to run certain tests that require certain interference/signals/etc., you replicate it and run that test far from the general public.
