Why not cancel day light savings time?

Should the nation revert to Standard Time?
Truckers/Workers in the morning get more daylight, and the extra hour of day light we would benefit is moot.
We get an extra hour of sleep and would logically it would keep more people indoors.

I live in the year 2020. My evening daylight hours aren't super important to me. On the other hand, having my alarm go off every morning for the rest of my life before sunrise would fricking suck.
Also, not that it matters, but I would bet a substantial amount of money that both my BMI and body fat percentages are lower than yours.
