I recall playing BBall in LSU's Rec and seeing women from the BBall team coming in and playing pick-up games against a bunch of guys who were average ball players in HS and getting smashed pretty good. This was when LSU has a very solid women's team.

I know in swimming the several thousands, yes, it's completely objective, are faster than the women's world records in most every event.

My buddy played a couple years of ball at Millsaps before hanging up his high-tops and transferring to LSU. He and Simone Augusta defended each other for a game or two. He posted half of his rec team's points and recorded numerous steals and blocks. He was mediocre payer at a small time college and she was the national female POY.

In high school we had to do a "senior project" to graduate. One of the girls on the softball team decided that for her senior project she would set up a game of softball between the girls softball team and the baseball team. Her premise was that the girls could beat the baseball team at softball.
After the first time through the lineup, the rules were changed so that the baseball team had to bat opposite handed. The game was still stopped shortly thereafter because there were legitimate safety concerns for the girls.

The Daily Show did an asinine report a few months ago on the Women's Soccer Team and how it's ridiculous that they're not paid the same as their male counterparts, and never bring up the fact that the Men's World Cup brings in 8 times the amount of cash as the Women's World Cup. It's simply fricking laughable, and I doubt Stewrt would have let such a garbage story run while he was there.

US Women's Soccer makes money. US Men's Soccer does not. That is fact. Women play on shite fields and stay in shite hotels, particularly when compared to men. That is fact.
What they don't tell you is that US Men's Soccer couldn't field a team if they didn't pay their players more because there's more competition for their talents. What they also don't tell you is that the US Soccer Federation subsidizes the professional women's league because it makes no money. So while the US Women's National Team makes money, they wouldn't even have a league if it weren't for the US Soccer Federation.
That whole story is a clusterfrick and riddled with bad journalism.
