why McDonalds is closing 800 stores in Russia , just economics

news out of Russia is showing barren grocery shelves, and the impact of Putin spending the cash on war. The russkies are going back to breadlines. Selling burgers fries is a loosing business

I read that they are still going to pay the wages for all of their employees that worked in the Russian stores

My company spun the entire Russian business off. And almost everyone got laid off anyway. Our competitors just shut their doors.

Russia's people are going to feel like they are on Somalia before too long.

That's the first day of the first Russian McDonalds on or around opening day. It's a famous photo.

It was a huge deal when McDonalds went into Moscow. And now they are regressing again.

They won't. Just like N Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, etc.....It would take the military to turn on these regimes.
