Pretty sure the ACR will smoke the GTR. From Road & Track...
"When you think of the ultimate street-legal race car, you probably think of the McLaren P1, Porsche 918, or the Ferrari LaFerrari. Unfortunately, if your definition of "ultimate" involves putting down the fastest possible lap time at a track, you'd probably be wrong to pick any of those three.
Yep, on tracks like Laguna Seca, Road Atlanta, and Virginia International Raceway, if you want to set the fastest time, you'll need to be driving something a bit more American—a Dodge Viper ACR. According to FCA, the Dodge Viper ACR holds the lap record not just at those three tracks but at 10 more, as well.
"The SCCA has certified that the new 2016 Dodge Viper ACR holds more track records than any other production car in the world," said Tim Kuniskis, FCA's North American Head of Passenger Car Brands. "We expected our new Viper ACR to be the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever. Now we know without a doubt that it is."
For comparison, Randy Pobst ran the Viper ACR with the Extreme Aero pack around Laguna Seca and set a record lap time of 1:28.65, beating the previous record—set by a Porsche 918?by 1.24 seconds."

But the Viper ACR is more likely to chew you up, spit you out then kill you.
The GTR has to be easier to drive than the Viper. Everything I've read about it is you have to damn near be a race car driver to keep any Viper on the road.

We are looking at track times from two different tracks. (Nurburgring and Laguna Seca)
At the Nurburgring via LUNCH's link the GT-R beats versions of the ACR handedly.

The Corvette Z06 will smoke most sports cars including many supercars on the track... including the GTR. When the ZR1 comes out, game over.
Cool. You named 1 and maybe a second. 1 isn't produced yet and the other is debatable.
Like I said, Achilles heal of American muscle.

Thought the Vipers were the only cars left without any driver assist features like skid control and stuff like that.

I know the first few generations were like that. I think the last gen had some assist. I might be wrong though. You gotta be bat shite crazy to get in a 500+hp car that doesn't have driver assists.

No doubt about that. The viper is loud, uncomfortable and brutal.

The new Viper has stability control... Pretty sure all cars after 2012 are government mandated to have it.

Let me tell you. For about 200 miles I had the pleasure of seeing this car on the interstate.
It has the best tune from the exhaust I've ever heard, and it will flat haul serious arse. Passing speed was unreal.

Some stupid rich guy with an ugly huge house in North Bossier has a GTR. Every time I drive by the car is parked outside, next to his Chevelle and H1. The guy is an idiot. He has a garage big enough to hold all of them and an RV. But he leaves them all outside.

Find the new ACR ring time then. We are talking about the NEW ACR. The one that beat the 918 around Laguna. And if you look at the Laguna times I posted you'll see Goazilla further down the list. I can't find a ring time for the new ACR, maybe you can. It's definitely slower around Laguna than the ACR.

If it isn't posted, you can't say it's faster. You can speculate all you want, but for now the GTR owns the ACR on that track.

Go back and read my posts. When did I say the new ACR was faster around The Ring? You're making shite up. I said the '10 ACR was faster than the '13 GTR from your list that you posted.
The ACR is faster around Laguna than the GTR from the lap times I posted.
Reading comprehension my friend. The only reason I brought up the ACR was because someone said get a Demon, which is dumb. If you're going to get a Dodge to compete with the GTR for around the same price it's going to be the ACR.
Again, I never once said the new ACR is faster around the ring. You're just too fricking stupid to read.
