I've always wanted to turn a basement into a tiki bar. That's my dream man cave

Because that motif is easy to decorate relatively cheaply, it is instantly recognizable and puts people at ease, and it is easy to camouflage cheap alcohol with the sugary drinks that are sold.

I’ve been to a Don’s Beachcomber in both Tampa and San Diego. Fun times.

Beach Bum Barry’s is another good bar

I was a bouncer at two college bars.

One was the Elbow Room. Fights every night.
The other was the Tiki Bar. Barely any arguments or fights.

This guy gets it. It’s cliche and kitschy..but damn is it fun to be in a tiki bar for a little while.

The Tonga Room is nuts.

They drop rain in that pool/pond deal. Can’t remember if it’s while the band plays on the floating stage or not…. The drinks are strong.

That would be a terrifying place to drop acid and wig out for 8 hours.
