I asked a car dealership manager once about how people can afford these cars and he said: They can’t. Said most people are way overstretching themselves for their vehicles.

He said the truly wealthy buyers stick to brands akin to Toyota/Lexus and buy them cash. They don’t want to draw too much attention, and they value the reliability and simple maintenance.

I guess it’s good you say you’re good with numbers, as you really seem to suck at almost everything else…

Bezos isn't rich he has FU money, he is in the top 100 in the world. The money he spent on his wedding is yearly interest for him.

His women is Kardashian sleezy and I am sure the show was for the ho.

Suburbanite rich is usually materialistic and not based on much.

This.

You can be charitable, financially responsible, and still enjoy life.

You aren't guaranteed tomorrow, nor is your wife, and waiting until you retire is a poor gamble.

Saving every penny and not helping others that may need a hand is a very weak existence, IMO.

Some of the most unhappy and troubled people I’ve known have more money than they can spend. Everything they can want and are miserable.

Weird how that works…

There’s a guy that lives close to me and he’s got a Lambo and the plate says fumoney or some shite like that

I don’t think he tries to hide his wealth very well. I laugh when I see it but I’ve never thought about if he has a note or not.

I'm not wealthy but if I could afford a luxury suv, I'd buy one. Not to show off but that the Mercedes GLC rides better than my 20 yo pickup truck

It’s very common for people in their sphere to start expecting a handout. It makes them lose trust in nearly everyone, because they assume they are only being nice to make a play for some money.

But your neighbors do it every day. Houses, cars, where they shop for groceries, their clothes, where they send their kids to school, etc.

This isn’t rich, this is leveraged above the tits in debt and living by the philosophy of “if I can get approved for it, it means I can afford it.”

In my experience most actual “rich” people are pretty lowkey.
