Well yeah it’s subjective but a lot of people eat way more calories then they realize.

Also replacing most of your drinks with can make a huge difference. Just take out a few snacks and the daily Starbucks.

pretty much

Food releases brain chemicals that makes some people very happy

sounds like you are on the precipice of a business plan.

companies in America are allowed to pack all kinds of bullshite into our food that should be illegal and is in many countries.

So the answer is the corporatocracy.

Here's a good book about it

I think this covers most of it. Because of the abundance of foods like these, discipline is needed and not many people want to use it enough to overcome their addiction.

Yes.

I’ve been trying to lose 20 pounds for 15 years. It takes two or three days for me to reach for the sugary food and blow the diet.

Granted I’m not morbidly obese but it’s been a struggle for me.

Most people are just lazy and have bad diets.

People are lazy, that’s a fact, but, I’d say people have bad diets because they don’t know how to eat healthy.

It’s too easy to order take out, go through a drive thru or pop some egg rolls, corn dogs or pizzas in the oven.

If more people were educated on what foods are healthy and what certain bad foods can do to your body our society would be much better off.

I honestly think schools should incorporate Nutrition and Dietetics as a mandatory curriculum in order to graduate high school. Just like English, Biology, Math and History.

Biggest fake news myth out there. Simply not true.

Chicken, fish, pork, eggs, vegetables, rice, beans - all cheap as shite if you shop smart.

1. Most people aren’t smart.
2. It takes more effort to plan meals and do research than to grab the Doritos and Oreos.

For example, this week I bought naan, tomato sauce, raw chicken, cheese, and green peppers. Cost like $15-$20. Grilled the chicken. Threw it all together in the oven for about 10 minutes with some Slap Ya Mama’s. I could’ve made five “healthy” pizzas at $3-$4 a piece. And it was delicious.

Fast food, frozen processed meals, etcetc are all cheap. And if you dont know how to cook and are poor, you will eat the previously mentioned things.
That's another big part of it. It's easy to run out to McDonald's or stop by the quick stop and pick up foods that are cheap and heavy on calories. Other low-calorie foods are cheap but if you want them to taste decent, you usually have to spend time preparing them. Also, it takes a little more effort to count the calories and portions if you want to do so.

It’s more than just sugars, ma’am/bro. If you have never experienced it you cannot understand it. I am 23 pounds heavier than I was when I graduated just over 20 years ago. That’s about a pound per year, which is gross, but losing weight at the age of 40 is not like it is at 20. I could drop five pounds in a week when I was 20 without even trying. Losing five pounds at 40 takes a month of strenuous exercise and serious diet, all while raising children and working a high stress 65 hour a week job.

It’s not easy to lose weight for everyone.

Yes. I'll add depression to it. I'm only really happy when I eat.

Incorrect. And most studies have shown the metabolism slowing down bit is nothing more than a myth.

Sure it is they're just lazy and make excuses exactly like yours.
