Why is it okay to say Spanish flu and not kung-flu?

As someone that may or may not have 1/1024th Spanish DNA, I am offended over the 1918 illness. Gracias.

Sorry. I should have included China-virus, Wuhan-virus....etc. People are getting all pissy from using the origin of the illness as part of the description.

I mean Kung Flu is hilarious but not exactly descriptive enough. Naming it Wuhan after its origin is perfectly alright.
