I think the cartels are much more dangerous than ISIS ever was. That would be a tall task. Wish something would be done though.

ISIS didn't really benefit anybody and nobody was sorry to see them go. The cartels, for all their evil, pump a lot of money into poverty stricken rural Mexico. The cartels could be eliminated, but Mexico will have to do it themselves. Colombia did, with American help,in the nineties when their cartels became an existential threat to the country. Mexico doesn't see it that way yet. If and when it does it will crush the cartels. Even a poor country like Mexico has infinitely more resources than these guys.

I agree. the cartels are so close to home. probably very present in our home. ISIS was pretty much contained.

came across a youtube channel of a dude that does drugs on camera and as he goes through his highs of various drugs, he explains the feelings and how the drug is affecting him. I think he quit though because his family got to the point of leaving him and he quit.

Lol
Don’t need to click the link, I know who you are talking about.

It’s cheap and the supplies are huge thanks to the open border with Mexico.

The opium poppy plant grows out of the ground. I get that they take the opiate in it and refine it etc but still it comes from a plant.

Yeah. Coke comes from a plant as well, gets a bunch of chemicals added to it.

My point was if you have to refine it, it’s not natural any longer.
