Because there's two discussions that could be had.
One is whether or not its healthy for a society to heavily unbalance population percentages in advertising, and the other is whether or not its even happening at all.
I think the first is fairly self evident, the latter is certainly murky for me because I have nothing to base it on outside of anecdotal evidence (the amount of interracial couples I see in real life verses advertisements). Obviously what I've experienced/noticed isn't necessarily a good representation of what others experience/notice.
