I will agree with you on this. Getting angry over interracial couple commercials is dumb though.

No . I’ve seen his posts for years and he’s always been a thoughtful poster . Now you on the other hand- Why are you so angry at everybody?
Even if he did think it was aberrant, so what ? How does his opinion hurt you or me ? Why do you have to have everybody’s affirmation or you go to DEFCON one? Chill. Just guys talking about the culture.

This is the only post that should be in the thread. If some of yall really think the marketing department at Sears is paying $300k/commercial to “brainwash” you, that’s absurd. They’re just covering their arse so they can market to the largest amount of people possible.

For the record, if someone wants to have a relationship with someone outside of their race, that’s their prerogative. I don’t have an issue with it and it’s occurred through migration and conquest since time immemorial.
But it is outside the norm, otherwise we wouldn’t have diverse peoples. That’s just basic biology.
I’m in no way saying that interracial couples are equivalent to trannies, except in that they are overrepresented in media versus how prevalent they are in the general population.
Is that more clear?

There is a big debate among black men and woman about whether or not black men should be marry outside of their race. The black women do not think it's right that the "good" black men are wanting to marry white women. It's pretty pathetic and frankly racist, but nobody calls it as such. Go figure.

I had a roommate (black male) and he told me his mom would never allow him to marry a white woman no matter how amazing of a woman she was.

I mean, if the goal is to reflect your market, I know only three interracial couples out of all the people I know. My neighbor is "black" with a hispanic wife, my cousin is "white" with a "black" wife and my father-in-law is "white" with an African wife.
Thats it. Thats 3. Or 6, depending on how you look at it.
