Because no matter what it is that
Kills you, you still (officially) died from Covid.

The news never reported those deaths to begin with.

I must have missed that episode of Earth where a unknown strain of heart attack spread throughout the world, causing panic and stress on the hospital system.

When did heart attacks ever really be news, besides when a celebrity died?

They’re not contagious though

I can catch a heart attack from eating too much. I can’t catch a heart attack from somebody else

I had a friend who's husband died a few weeks ago at 44 from a sudden heart attack. People were very nice on facebook but overall it was like it didn't happen. Not newsworthy. She is still a total mess, as you would expect.

Of course it is contagious, it’s one of the reasons for the obesity epidemic. Because it’s normalized, people think it’s ok, even when they know it’s unhealthy. When someone sees a loved one, Dr, or person they look up to, be obese or gluttonous they receive the message that it’s OK. People want to be congruent with their peers more or as much as being right.
