My wife and I did Celebrity's Alaskan cruise out of Vancouver to Seward. Upper class group of people. Nothing like the steerage that sails out of New Orleans. My wife and I actually refuse to sail out of anything from the Port of New Orleans anymore.

Yeah, I agree with others. It seems 90% of the people here have probably only done the 4 or 5 nights shite cruises out of N.O. or Galveston. Those are generally the low end boats and the port visits suck arse

Was in cabo San Lucas last week and a couple cruise boats came in for the day. Can't remember which ones but half the people that came off there looked like inbreds from the back woods of ark, ms, ala, and Tenn. Was pretty funny watching them being herded around the marina like a bunch of cattle. Couldn't get to those restaurants fast enough.

True.
The cruise lines send their oldest boats to ports like NOLA.
Go on one out of Miami or Ft Lauderdale and it's a lot different. That's not to say there isn't some trash because there is, but it's definitely different with a lot less trash and nicer/newer ships.
