If done correctly they can look good. IMO for them to look cool you need a lot of them and they all over lap but tie in to one another.
Just getting one random thing after another doesn’t look right. They also have to be done by a good artist. Not all artists are good. Find an experienced one. Pay the money and get it done right.

TL;DR - They are largely conservative Christian’s with a narrow world view and no experience of tattooed people outside of their bubbles where it is predominantly lower class folks with tattoos

Tattoos used to be reserved for soldiers, sailors, bikers and participants in the penal system. Now everyone one has them.
What’s really upsetting is I like women’s legs, and to see a nice set ruined with a tattoo is a big turn off. Not to mention across their chest, neck or face.
And another thing. The nasal piercings, aka bigger collector, sucks too.
