Why does Spotify play the same songs?

I don’t understand. I pay for the subscription, and I hear the same 15 songs over and over. Any fix for this? I tried pressing shuffle multiple times already and I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in.

add more than 15 songs to your playlist

i've noticed it plays a lot of the same songs on shuffle even though i have 1000 songs on a playlist. But, i think it "learns" your preferences?

you know you can make playlists with as many songs as you want...

Yeah I stopped using it because of that. Just use Pandora now.

Man I love YouTube Premimum. So many more songs, covers, you name it, and when not using it strictly to listen to music especially when on the go, you get no adds - non stop - videos.

Music subscriptions are the only entertainment subscriptions worth it as a single guy with no kids in my opinion. If I'm watching a series I can pirate it in one sitting and watch it over the course of the weeks. My music taste is extremely fluid and I always listen to my music on the go, constantly searching for new music. I used to pirate all of my music too, but it just became too much of a hassle keeping my library up.

It's not just spotify. Some nerds have proven that all the major music services do this shite.
It's b/c they will play the songs they pay the least for, despite you having 2k songs in a playlist. It'll cycle through maybe 150 songs.
It's bullfrickinshit. My workaround in Spotify for this is to sort the playist by title or added date and play without shuffle.

Well I’ll have to try that out - sounds worth a shot

Yea you can sort playlists by a few things.
You can also custom sort if you tinker with a playlist in the Desktop Version.
But sadly ALL services do this. Their Shuffle isn't quite 'random'.
I thought I was crazy 3 or 4 yrs ago when I noticed it but it's not you, it's them.
A nice feature would be a memory of sort like I used to have on my Sansa MP3 player. It would remember what songs I had played and had a feature to NOT repeat played songs.
The music services have this basic function but it will NOT remember what you've played if you play something else and then come back to your playlist. So if I listen to a podcast on way to work and music on way home, it resets. EASY to fix if they wanted. MFers.

Royalties. Spotify won't go find deep tracks or truly good related music when it's easier to keep playing the tracks they have the most favorable licensing for.

Blow in it.
Plus you have to wiggle side to side a few times, then put another game on top, then jam about 10 baseball cards on top to make sure it stays down.

I telled em. Amazon's and Google's and Apple's music services ALL do it too. frickin fricks.
Even for an artist you have 15 songs for. It'll play the fricking SAME 3 or 4 that are B-sides before it plays a popular track. Fact.

Do you not understand that you can hit the little double arrow and skip to the next song?
Or you can create a playlist with as many songs as you want?
Or you can manually pick the song you want from your playlist?
What a stupid thing to be unhappy about.

Create a playlist.
Alternatively, you can go buy albums.

Sirius XM is the same way. B.B. King's Blueville plays the same 15 artists and same 15 songs over-and-over. All of them do this, but B.B.'s seems to be the worst. I only keep my subscription because I travel a lot, so at least it's nice not having to search the dial looking for a radio station.

It's probably a blown fuse or low on blinker fluid.

I have a playlist with about 3000 songs on it. Anyone know how to break it down into smaller playlists?
