Why does it feel so good to introduce a family member to your friends?

My mom has recently come to live with us and I bet 2 or 3x a day I run into someone I know and every time I get to introduce her it makes me happy.
Hard to explain I guess but it feels me with so much pride when she meets people that exist in the cad solar system even if she probably won't remember or meet them again.
Sorry if this sounds like a subtle "I have a mom" thread.

Works both ways, some are embarrassed to introduce a family member. You're proud of your mom and glad to show her off whenever possible.!

I’m no sociologist but my guess is that people instinctively want their social circles to be as interconnected as possible. It makes life simpler so our brains reward is for making it happen.
