The podcasts that you're listening to may have similar audience demographics so you're getting targeted by the same sponsors, who are typically companies with smaller advertising budgets.

I only listen to one barstool podcast and one other sports show. A few non sports pod safes have many of the same ads.

I've never heard mvmt or seat geek outside of barstool. Blue apron is popular everywhere. It's all demographics though. The people listening to podcasts probably skew younger like 20-35 or so. Ordering watches online, tickets off an app, food delivered, all sounds like younger people, not 50+.
