When I read this I bet myself the author went to a decent school but one not on Harvard’s level and probably had some jealousy. 3 clicks to his LinkedIn and….

Yea…. I was correct.

But is he wrong? It’s obvious that leftists hate white men, and Harvard certainly is leftist

Here's a quick hint: there are tons of schools on Harvard's level academically. The only advantage Ivies have is the ingrained, cliquish networks of elite alumni.

Which is a pretty big fricking deal.

17% of the American population are white men. Harvard's faculty is 32% white men. Seems white men are overrepresented, right? I mean, is the data wrong?

Agreed. I'm just stating that academically, the Ivies aren't this god-tier education.

frick ALL the Ivy League schools. I think big state schools are better… better experience, better students (not talking about book smart here), better value, etc.

The Future Value of a Dollar equation or Lagrangian equation works just the same at Auburn as it does at Harvard.

Something tells me if you extrapolated that logic into other races/genders, you would not be making the point you think you're making.

The data is not wrong.

The question is why should white men even go to schools like Harvard anymore when the people around you at those schools generally hate you?

Go to SEC schools were you are more liked.

The only special thing about Harvard is established networking. The Harvard graduate doesn't get harder board exam questions than does the Florida graduate.

The dude is an admitted pedophile. He should forever be ignored on this board. His brain doesn't function like a normal person's. Of course he isn't smart enough to realize he made a stupid point.

True, but good chance you're getting a better salary (or stock incentives) to talk about that equation if you graduated from Harvard.

If for no other reason, your dad probably owns the company.

Or your dad's friend, who also went to Ivy, etc.

I'd like to see controls for both college graduation rates and the the population entering academia over this scope for both males and females. Females have been outpacing males going to college for a while now. Harvard's issues with social justice are well documented, but this data doesn't prove what the poster wants it to by itself.

How does it compare to other universities, is the question.

With the increase in female population share on campuses, You'd expect this trend, I reckon. I don't think it's a Harvard issue exclusively.

What an odd take. Why do you suddenly post some shite about Harvard? Step away from social media, dude. It's making you dumber (that goes for anyone with any political slant using Twitter to get angry every day).

Hamiltonian equation too.

I get your point though.

There are a lot of people however that believe that E=mc^2 written on the chalkboard by a Harvard professor carries more weight than a professor at Auburn.
