My wife’s father abandoned her shortly before she was born, and she’s the happiest, well adjusted, and funniest chick I’ve ever met. Her mother is a very good mom as well and did well raising her, so she does deserve kudos for raising a wonderful daughter almost entirely on her own (having a large Catholic family helped as well).

There is a fox news article about a single mom evacuating from the fires. I feel for her. I do. And the fact that she is a single mom sucks. But these cases are generally not because she is a widow. Either she is a “single mom” supported by the child’s dad… so less concerning. Or she had a kid with a piece of shite. Sorry for partying?

Great take man. Fox news huh?

And you are on the right board. Nobody knows more about women than the INCELS on the OT and PT.

How many of these women used the court system to make it almost impossible for the father to have a quality relationship with their kids?

That's fair.

The absent father should be castrated.

and because men offering any solution to their “issues” is met with hostility and is now considered “mansplaining” or whatever else

they aren’t looking for solutions, they are looking for attention and acknowledgement

but regardless, being a single parent is definitely not easy, man or woman. any single parent who raises well adjusted functioning kids deserve kudos

Yeah, I don’t judge the mother unless she’s done it more than once. These Johnny Appleseeds of fathers though should all be sterilized with no exceptions.

If you have kids you’d understand.

A women that handles kids plus a job and raising them without help is a bigger job than I think you give it credit for.

Then they start growing and you have other concerns not to mention your own life is going on.

I feel for them, they are some strong women that’s for sure.

If you look at the definition of hero I think they fit that.

100%. If you cant handle that responsibility you shouldn’t have kids.

I believe more damage is being has been done to girls with absent fathers.

There's exceptions to that as well. The father legitimately might now know he has a kid.

Women have all the rights as it regards to children.

Ok, but the second he is aware, he better start paying with back payments if necessary, and if he doesn’t, then he’s sterilized.

Not sure really but as a single dad(due to the mothers death, not my wife though may as well have been) there's a clear double standard. That said, I'm not a hero just a dad doing what a dad is supposed to do. What any parent is supposed to do. It's not heroic or special, it's life and what parents, single or not, should be expected to do. I'm fine with the praise many single parents get but we aren't special by any means.

I imagine it started with genuine intentions before the onslaught of sluttiness in today’s generation. It just got muddied by people that are single by choice versus a tragedy/crappy dad.

It's heartless, but we were better off as a society when an unwed mother was a social stigma.

Shame is a powerful motivation and needs to be reintroduced to society. We were much better when girls were ashamed of getting pregnant and parents were ashamed of being on welfare. Liberals convinced them that it wasn't their fault and here we are.

Cads should be condemned. But no one worships the cad more than women. He’ll always have plentiful hunting grounds.

We all knew that guy growing up, the one where the gals said “He aint good for nothing but making babies”. And yet he was never without a woman by his side.
