I can't wait until we destroy the Devil's Anus in 2039 with a controlled implosion.

It's weird to see Willow Street without Phelps Hall.

They went through a rough patch around 1800 years ago. That's when the events manager was Josephus the Eunuch. He attempted piped in music, ruined the concessions, and overcharged for parking your chariot.

Fortunately, Septimius wised up and fed him to a tiger named Mikus.

What amazes me about the colosseum offs long long ago all of it's structural metal "rebar" was removed and it's entire fascia was removed and it's still standing.

not sure if this has been covered yet, but if anyone goes through Pontiac, Michigan will fully understand imploding unused domes.

Better question is why we don’t do more retrofitting of existing stadia. I’ve wondered that about the original Alex Box. Love the new Box, but still unclear why everything they did there couldn’t have been done at the original location.

Oh, and re: the Jawja Dome: Hosting less than 1,500 events in its entire history is just plain dumb. Buildings like that should be designed/built/used for a minimum of 50 years. It’s a reflection of our disposable culture that they’re not.

I didn't realize how low of a slope Tulane stadium had, probably felt like you were a mile from the field. Much different than Tiger stadium.
