I'm not even sure what the first part of this means. But what isn't "truly domestic" about craft beer. I can walk into a brewery and speak directly with the owner/head brewer, and he lives down the street from me. That's more "truly domestic" than some piss water shite brewed by a company headquartered in Belgium or England.

I am no fan of the taste, as it’s about as appealing to me as the rest of the big domestic beers are, but what is appealing is the fact it doesn’t equate to a meal in a bottle, and so is easier on my belly, and when you get older that plays a much bigger role in things. I can certainly see it’s appeal.
