I agree, downvotes are going to happen no matter what you say or do. That's life, someone is going to differ from my opinion or values on a specific post/topic. I could say the sky is blue, but someone could say..."Well not on a cloudy day." In the end a thread or post is basically like a tattoo, it could be the ugliest tattoo ever inked but if it meant something to you, then frick it. That's all that matters. We are here to simply be apart of a community, because there's nothing like the feeling of belonging to a team or family.

True story...I got banned when the up vote/down vote thing was first added to this board. I said I thought it was stupid, and poof, I was gone.

Needless to say, I no longer think it's stupid.

I’ve thought about this and I think I’d rather it be anonymous. I think you get more truthful results. I didn’t get the upvote/downvote thing at first since it had no effect on anything, but I like it. Shows you how the forum feels about this, that, or the other.

That guy that had a 2100+ downvoted thread a few weeks back should take pride in that
