As one poster alluded to earlier with the number of attempts, here in Dallas the ocean is vast. I can turn on my bumble/match/tinder account and within 3 days have at least 2 dates lined up. Even at 50% success that is 4 different women a month.
That shite gets expensive though so I do take a few weeks off sometimes.
But its not as hard as some people make it seem.

no shite, I have seen girls not just say no, but be totally cruel an insulting that "this guy" has the nerve to ask her out, then they proceed to involve every person around them at the bar "spreading the word" about, "that guy thought he had a chance" so yes after this happens to a person or you see it happen to a friend you decide frick it and its up to the girl to make the first move or why bother risking such ridicule just for "taking a chance"
you want to know why guys get so hesitant, start paying attention to how your friends treat those they rebuff, its rarely ever just a no thank you but more often seen as they have to put a person down if they aren't "worthy"

Oh, I don't think it is hard. I only know one single guy that has issues with that, and he is just freakishly shy. And he still gets laid when he wants, just a bit harder.

Wow that's awful. Men and woman but that the capability of being pretty cruel like that though. Sorry that you've seen it happen first-hand. Not all women are that bitchy. I would say something to one of my girlfriends if I saw/heard her speak to a guy like that.
