Why do potheads get so defensive anytime somebody says something negative about pot?

I have noticed this as well.

Same thing for:

1. Soccer fans.
2. Beatles fans.

I don't really see this happening.

Only when some dumbos come in and try to argue against legalization while supporting small government... that's what usually gets peopled riled up

But the blowhards on this forum that pretend to rub elbows with Louisiana’s Billionaires and know all about their finances are SO much more comical!


Go read a few threads.....3 or 4 posters really stand out. You’ll see.

I haven't smoked in years because of work. I actually quit years before that because I didn't like feeling down, but I think they get so upset is cause the same people talking bad about it see no problem with alcohol. To act like seeing someone piss drunk or driving drunk is somehow superior to being high is a joke.

I draw a distinction between potheads and stoners. Potheads smoke a lot of weed and go about their business. They aren't the type to post a bunch of pot leaves and dubious claims all over facebook or do try-hard shite like 'celebrating' 4/20. Stoners base their identity around it and are likely to react negatively to any perceived slight.

I consider myself a pothead.
