I could afford a new vehicle, but I don't want to spend that much when I already have something that gets me from point A to point B.

Haven't read entire thread , but I think it's about image. It's a me world, not us. If I look cool, that's all thar matters. Keep up with the Jones's, yadda, yadda. F that.

Because I have the financial means to buy an Audi and pay for it in cash.

I also keep my cars for a long time. Last car was a 2005 Infiniti. Also bought with cash.
