I was at the Rangers-Angels game last night, and these people behind me couldn’t or wouldn’t control their four kids any where from 2-4 years old. They screamed in my ear, kicked my back, spilt about four drinks, threw a peanut bag on me, etc. Control your freaking kids if you take them in public. I have a 21 year old son, and 17 year old daughter. I did take my son as a youngster, but he sat there and watched the game because he had raising. Another couple almost got into it with a Rangers usher who told the parents to control their kid and make him sit in his damn seat instead of running up and down the stairs. The parents got pissed and he had to call his supervisor. If the kid had fallen they’d wanted to sue the Rangers. We talk about trashy on the OT. That shite is trashy. Fricking white people.

because doing things with their kids is what parents do.

I have no problems with kids. I did and do things with mine. An example of good parenting last night was this black couple with their four year old who sat their like he should, and watched the game instead of acting like a wild damn animal who has never been in public.

it seems your issue is with shitty parents and not the act of taking kids to games

Your thread title and complaint don't really match up.

There's nothing wrong with taking kids to a baseball game.

There is something wrong with not keeping them under control and well behaved.

Gone are the days when Major League Baseball was reserved for quiet adults who could lounge in their seersucker suits and straw hats as they leisurely sipped their mimosas and watched the sporting activities on the grassy diamond.

I agree. I took my kids to sporting events at that age but they acted like they had sense, because they knew they’d get their asses beat. Bad wording of topic.

Why would anyone go to a baseball game and not expect 2-4 year olds to be there? If you would pay for a premium seat instead of cheating out you would not have to deal with this. Unlike you, most expect kids to be at baseball games, though.

I wouldn't take my 2 year old to a MLB game simply because it would be a waste of money. He wouldn't make it anywhere close to 9 innings. High school sporting events are what I take him to, to him it might as well be the pros
