The idiots who live there will elect someone worse
just like Chicago
just like NYC
just like SF
just like LA

If it's so shitty, why does it keep drawing in tourist crowds?
Conventions bring people in, most of the time the people setting everything up are imaging NO or any other city from 100 years ago. NO could be fixed the same way NY was saved years ago, the difference is social media and people thinking feelings actually matter when it comes to cleaning up an major American city.

There now. Walked through the Warehouse District and around Tivoli Circle an hour ago. Still alive.

All places I never hope to go to again barring an airport layover.

I visited New Orleans for a three day weekend and thought it was a trashy garbage can. I could not wait to leave that Sunday morning. Just not my cup of tea

Have you been to the Cuban restaurants in Little Havana? They have some restaurants that are easily on par with or better than some of the N.O. restaurants

If you don't think New Orleans has a rich history then you clearly don't know much about the city!
