I’ve been on just about every floor of the residences, even got to see Sean Peyton, Drew Brees, Gayle Benson, Bollinger’s, Zach Strief and a few others. They still aren’t finished with quite a few of them when I toured back in December, but I’ll tell you what, those residences are really fkn nice.

New Orleans was wild in the 90s. Today the police are just leaving the department, back then they are corrupt as hell. Knocking off corner dealers so they can put someone else on the corner they would supply with the drugs they busted. Split with the dealer and if the dealer tried to frick them they would then arrest them.

They were using police equipment for their personal use to make money. If there was a movie being filmed the individual police would be paid and he managed the security without the department even knowing about it.

New Orleans went wrong when they shut down the projects. Thats where a lot of the crimes were, but at least you knew not to eve go close to those areas.

Yeah a-hole. Welcome back, I guess. My point is the murder rate is probably as high on a per capita basis. Run half of the gangsters out of town, and there will be half of the murders.

Edit: Katrina was a three at landfall.

tourists can come for a weekend of 5-7 days and be relatively unbothered by the issues of the city.

as a resident the issues that the city faces grinds on you differently. But it is easy to visit and not notice the bad things.

No argument there. But that’s not what 08 said. He said it was a four which is incorrect.

People go because they want to experience a very large and very dangerous escape room

Bc they made them mixed income and hold them to standards. They have to keep their shite up or they get the boot.

I pass by a few of them every day and I’m always impressed with how well they have been maintained

they did not rebuild highly dense, multiple-storied living buildings.
