It's pronounce La pl'ah'ce (like when a doctor says open your mouth and say aaaah)

There are 2 pronunciations when it comes to those folks of the non-caucasoid variety

La-plass or la-place (as in fireplace)

When I read the title I thought you meant the C replacing the Z... That could make more sense bc people actually do that. I've never heard Conzales.

This is Jessica Canizales. Her name is slightly similar to Conzalez. Hopefully this helps this crappy thread a little bit.
