I had the same fear, but the process wasn't bad. Just take in low doses of about 30-45 minutes. Don't start off at the beach or pool, you will be toast. Instead opt for running shirtless or doing some yard work, or heck, just walk around in your yard. I'm still white, but not Vampire tier like I was at the start of the summer.

When I'm visiting home in louisiana, if I mow my mom's yard with a shirt on I can literally wring sweat out of it like a wet towel. there's no point to wearing one when it's so hot
