I just said moist to a broad as a test.
She was not offended.
I think women hate being called a broad more than count.

Astute observation. I don’t disagree.

his phenomenon is born as the result of the confusion caused by two psychological traits that all women have that happen to contradict one another.
The first being that women are naturally followers. We all notice how quickly a new gf will start using your lingo and picking up your interests. This helped them survive back in the hunter gatherer days and is still instinctual for them.
But women also all like to view themselves as some unique, special, "not like your average girl, one of a kind type. The movie series Divergent quite blatantly played on that female psyche, if any of yall got dragged to that by a gf like I did.
So when one girl decided hating the word moist was cute and quirky, her friends looked at her and saw how cute and quirky she was they wanted to be cute and quirky and unique too and it spread like wildfire and now every girl hates the word moist because they're all so cute and quirky and unique.

Do girls really hate the word moist?

I don’t think they do.
The OP doesn’t know that.

Moist doesn’t bother me. I have a slightly negative reaction to the word “lips”. I’m not sure why, but I have since I was a kid. It’s definitely irrational.

This.
Which is dumb. How else are you supposed describe a moist chocolate cake? A juicy chocolate cake?

I knew a girl who hated the words moist, vagina, penis, and panties. Her nickname became Moist Vagina Penis Panties, or MVPP. That is probably considered assault nowadays.

might have started with the TV series "Dead Like Me" (2003-2004)....
A major character (dead girl's mother) had a strong dislike for the word.
That was the first place I've seen any special dislike for "moist".

I don't know about moist. I grew up in the 70's and early 80's. We just said Wet.

I appreciate the reference. That show was underrated.

They also all have developed a fear of clowns, literally every single girl is scared of clowns, apparently.
