Why do covers for grills & patio furniture leak?

Brand new slip over covers I put on them yet when we get a decent rain, they are soaked underneath. That includes a weber cover. So much for name brand.

Most arent made to keep underneath dry, but to keep pollen and birdshit off.

Spraying some Scotchguard on your grill will keep it dry

I have a King Kong grill cover and it has worked great for the 2-3 years I’ve had it. It has been out in the elements the entire time and has not degraded at all.
