I pulled carpet out of an older truck and used a can of bed liner coating in the front and back (ext cab) floor areas. Absolutely love it and glad I didn’t just replace the old carpet. I still lay down a couple hard floor mats to keep it as clean as possible. If not for value if I ever sold my newer truck I would do the same with it. Screw carpet.

And to the one talking about manual transmission, I don’t buy one if it isn’t. And most of the time they don’t have any on the lots. I can’t stand driving an automatic truck. Just don’t seem American without a manual trans truck.

You know where else it isn't cool anymore?

Nevermind...

Just know that you and your mom have similar taste.

I asked about that when I bought my Silverado last year. The sales manager just laughed.

Enough about trucks. More stories about your sister.

Best money I spent on my wrangler was weathertech mats in front, middle, and back. It’s insane how much water they collect when it’s snowing and people are in and out of it. Worth every single penny

The first vehicle that I ever bought myself after I got my first job out of college was a brand new 1997 Ford F150 XL extended cab. Vinyl floor and bench seat in the front. AM/FM radio no CD player not even a tape deck. I loved that truck.

Back in the day (late 60s) Jeeps didn't have carpet. They did have drain holes with plugs that could be removed to ....drain..., and air ducts low as well as high.
