I saw 2 people (One helping another lady that was an addict so she knew where to look) find empty and full vodka bottles all over a house one time. So many they were stacked up in a big arse pile so high. They were found in places most would never think to look. In AC vents on the floor, everywhere. The alcoholic was shown them and they were still in denial they had a problem. Tell tale signs I have noticed from alcoholics are breath mints.

Yup. Significant others and loved ones get tired of it eventually so you have to start trying to hide it. And the sad thing is we're the only ones who are fooled by it.

I've been one and lived with one. She wouldn't hide her drinking but would hide bottles because she really had 3 and said she had 1.

i hide half empty bottles from myself, it like a random Christmas morning through out the year

We did the exact same thing when my brother in law died a couple of years back. His body just shut down. Bottles were everywhere hidden in every nook and cranny

I see you've never been married or had an SO.
It's to hide the fact we were drinking so much. The idea is to someday clean them out in secret.
