This has to be the answer. No way they all just default to loading the dishwasher like a toddler.

I will say, the tactic is effective, as every man who has pretended to iron a shirt in front of a woman knows

When you’re loading the dishwasher you’re thinking about how to maximize the amount of dishes you can get into it so you only have to run it once.

When she’s loading the dishwasher she’s thinking about how much you suck because she’s having to do the dishes.

I form a nice stack of everything that needs to go in. My mind does a scan and quick calculation of how to load it all, and I just do it. Works every time.

My wife's method is unexplainable, chaotic and prone to failure when something drops through the racks or is too tall for the water and to turn.
