I deal with the public a lot and wear a mask in those circumstances. I don't love wearing a mask, but I'd wear more than a mask if it had even a 2% chance at keeping my loved ones safer when I get home.

This is a good general rule of thumb. But what about the businesses that have a sign just to be safe from government overreach? The owners most likely don’t give a shite either way or another if you wear a mask

Careful, you could be shitting on someone going through chemotherapy that still has to wear the masks around people while their white blood cells are extremely low. I would never harass someone for wearing one and I will wear it if a business requires it. I am not an a-hole but I am also aware enough to know that 90% of the masks people wear are useless so it is all pretty pointless. I don't see how people can put a cotton neck gaiter on and think it's going to stop a microscopic virus. Those same people probably touch stuff all day and never wash their hands before stuffing hand-held food into their mouths.

I didn't see a sign but I didn't look real hard for one. I also didn't see anyone being told to leave without a mask and like I said it was about 50-50.

I’m on the side of if I need to wear a mask to buy something that I need or enter a place in order to take care of my business I will.
If I walk into a place and I’m asked to put on a mask I will.
I was at the Drs office the other day and yes everyone in the waiting room was wearing a mask. I was wearing my neck gaitor like I have been when necessary
Once I was sitting in the treatment room my neck gaitor was pulled down. The Dr walked in and I immediately pulled it up. He said, “nah, don’t worry about that, I’m fully vaccinated, you can pull it down”. We laughed and I just said, well you never know with all these mask nazis around here. I told him FTR, I haven’t gotten vaccinated, he laughed and shrugged and didn’t give a shite.
